These are just a few of the eye-opening panel discussions we’re offering this year. Panels will cover topics ranging from what makes a film viable in the marketplace to how to break into a television writer’s room. 3 Receptions Some of the most important connections forged at the Forum happen between the filmmakers in attendance. Each night, Singani63, Bozeman Spirits and Angel City Brewery will be providing the drinks to make those connections even easier. 1 Screening with a Q&A As always, the Film Independent Forum kicks off with an opening night film. In recent years, the Forum has given LA audiences their first look at Nightcrawler, Dallas Buyers Club, and Silver Lining’s Playbook. Members of the creative team will be onhand to answer your questions and even chat over drinks at the reception afterward.
